Desired Outcomes

Recognize the complex anatomy of the deep central neck fat, digastric muscles, peri-hyoid fascia and submandibular glands
The patients that will benefit from surgery of the deep neck will be defined and the indications for surgery will be thoroughly reviewed
The step-by-step maneuvers to accomplish successful management of the deep neck structures will be described in detail so that surgeon will recognize how to optimize the outcome of neck lift procedures
Patient safety will be emphasized so the surgeon is aware of all complications that can occur with this surgery. They will recognize the steps to prevent and to treat these complications
