Special Note: You are eligible to register for this course without registering for S14A (Basic) ONLY if you attended The Aesthetic Society’s Nurse Injector Competence Training Course held in either San Diego (2022), Miami Beach (2023) or Vancouver (2024).
Course Description:
Designed for nurse, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant injectors, this course offers an in-depth review of the treatment rationale and clinical applications for neuromodulators and FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers. Emphasizing the critical role of anatomy, the course guides participants through the aesthetic analysis and safety considerations, focusing on high-risk injection areas in the face. A thorough discussion on recognizing and managing vascular occlusion includes a presentation of various treatment options. Live patient demonstrations with neuromodulators and HA fillers provide practical insights, and patient safety is prioritized throughout, with an emphasis on minimizing complications through appropriate injection techniques.
